Combine the Mt Olympus and Mt Owen tours for the ultimate Lord of the Rings Experience!
First track northwest into Golden Bay for a landing on Mt Olympus to explore the site of “South of Rivendell.” Reboard the helicopter again to fly south towards Mt Owen, above the vast and untouched terrain that is the very heart of the Kahurangi National Park. Land once more to view the rocky landscape that became the “Exit from the Mines of Moria.” From here it is a short flight back to our Heliport with views of Tasman Bay.
