About
Rugged lava fields, tunnels and caves, a forest and the icing on top (literally…) amazing 360-degree views of Auckland City and it’s stunning background of the Hauraki Gulf.
Departing from Westhaven in Auckland City, cruise to Rangitoto Island and begin a leisurely 1hr (approx) hike up Auckland’s youngest volcano, Rangitoto! Alternatively join a guided tour on the 4WD road train to the top.
Return to the boat armed with plenty of photos and ready to relax!
Cruise to a neighbouring sheltered bay in the area to enjoy a picnic lunch and spend the afternoon, lounging, swimming, paddle-boarding, exploring, and enjoying the picturesque backyard of Auckland.
What to Bring
• Sunglasses, sunscreen, a warm jacket and a hat – the weather can change quickly at sea so come prepared;
