Raft & Abseil, Waiohine Day Out

Ages 8+ • 6 Hours • Wairarapa

 

Spend the day in the astonishing Waiohine gorge, starting with a scenic rafting tour on the beautiful emerald green water of the wild Waiohine river, stopping at water falls for group photos and spending quality time with your pairs jumping off the rocks.

After the river experience we will provide a catered lunch for the team to enjoy while we prepare you for the 30 meter abseil. You and your team will be rappelling a 30 meter wall down to the river with our experienced guides giving thorough instruction and coaching you over the edge. This is an amazing activity for ages from 8 years and above, the perfect kids birthday adventure idea or a great to test the confidence levels of adults.

  • Grade 2 Scenic rafting (2.5 hours)
  • Catered lunch
  • 30 meter abseil
  • High quality photos of the day
  • All gear provided (All you need is swimwear, a towel, warm change of clothes, a pair of old running shoes and a sense of adventure)
