About

The experience starts at the end of Otago Peninsula. Once our tour guide collects you at the Octagon, you will enjoy the most breathtaking scenery via Highcliff Road and Hooper’s inlet, plenty of photo stops and wading bird viewing opportunities.

It is important to have lots of warm layers as it can get very cold to stand in the wind for up to an hour while waiting for the penguins return.
