“Enjoy 2 favourites in one combo”
Our Walk-an-Alpaca Tour is very popular and our café options are divine! So, we’ve decided to bring you a special combo!
Enjoy a meal of your choice from our café menu from 1 pm, then after a quick safety briefing, it’s time to meet your new friend! You can lead your alpaca through the race and enjoy their unique personalities. During the leading, you’ll also have time to feed the alpaca herds their favourite treats! You have around 30 minutes for the leading and feeding. There will be one alpaca for every 2 people. Not to worry, there will be plenty of time for both people to lead! Meet our 2 llamas, Lima and Cusco, and see if you can spot the differences between alpacas and llamas. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to take photos with all of our friendly alpacas whilst being surrounded by the stunning Waikato scenery.
Drinks are not included in the combo but are available to purchase at the Café.
Lunch will be from 1 pm and the Alpaca Leading will start at 2.30 pm. This gives you plenty of time to enjoy both! Please check in at the Alpaca Shop at 1 pm before you go to the Café as you’ll need to show your booking.

Please wear comfortable close-toed shoes for walking through paddocks and bring rainwear if there is rain forecasted – our tours go ahead even in wet weather!
