The perfect introduction to balanced riding for riders of all ages, the hack track is a 1h ride through our rolling farm country. Ride through native forests, with great views of the ocean and enough ups and downs to challenge new riders.

The Hack Track (1h) – ride the diverse landscape through farmland, bush, wetland and forest alongside the glowworms.. This is a one hour return trip. We are helping this area revegetate as it is home to many birds but also many predators. There is a trapping programme to catch the stoats, rats, wild cats and possums. Soon we hope to see the little Blue Penguins which are down on the beach, coming further inland and using our nesting boxes.

We offer riders of all experience levels opportunities to learn more about the foundations of good horsemanship whilst experiencing stunning coastal scenery on horseback. With a focus on teaching light and balanced riding, our guided holistic horse riding experiences are so much more than just a trail ride.

Weight Limit

For the wellfare of our horses and due to the challenging terrain of our rides, Our weight limit for all rides is 90kg.
Depending on riding experience and fitness level we may make exceptions.
If you are over our weight limit, we do have a few alternatives that will still allow you to join us for a ride down along the flat section of the beach.
