A must try for those who have not experienced a Geothermal Hangi Meal – which is simply foods cooked in geothermal steam & bubbling geothermal hot pools.

Enjoy our 2 course Geothermal Hangi Meal of foods that have been cooked in the steam vents & hot pool you will see while taking a guided tour through our village.
Our Geothermal Hangi Meals consist of beef & chicken coved with gravy, vegetables such as potato, kumara, cabbage & carrots, bread stuffing made with mixed herbs, onion, carrots & butter & a piece of corn on the cob.
Dessert is a NZ favorite – Steamed pudding made from flour, sugar, mixed spice, milk & butter which has been cooked in our steam vents & topped with fresh fruit salad, vanilla custard and a dollop of whipped cream.
