About me

The challenge of capturing something special in a split second of time is what drives me.

I am a visual journalist with a passion for storytelling. My career has taken me to many places where I’ve met and captured people from all walks of life.  My ability to adapt to any situation has enabled me to achieve results beyond expectation.

I am a motivated, creative, positive person.  Honesty, integrity & respect are the values which I hold as most important.

In any form of photography, light is the key.  Composition, backgrounds and angles are also crucial, but I’ve always thought that anticipation, timing and persistence are equally as important to capture that great moment.

I’m privileged to have covered many national stories including the Christchurch & Kaikoura earthquakes, Whakaari / White Island eruption and have traveled on assignment around the world.

I am based in New Plymouth Taranaki but available for work all over the globe.
